- Email Notifications - Check this box to allow email messages for your account. Messages can include notifications that documents have been uploaded to your mailbox, or if your administrator issues you a password reset request.

This email address works in conjunction with the Email Notifications feature only (see above) and the email address may be different than the one found in your profile in the GrandMaster Suite payroll software program (the latter email address is used to send email pay statements directly from the GrandMaster Suite payroll software program.

Password resets are also required when you are sent a temporary password (a temporary password is issued when a payroll administrator has to reset your password for any reason). Show Me...
When the button is selected, three editable fields appear so that you can define the necessary password information:
- Current Password - Use this cell to enter your current password. This cell is provided so that you can reset your password without having to involve an administrator The current password is required in order to ensure that the person making the password change has the necessary validation (if the user does not know their current password, then they are not allowed to change it to a new one). This security measure prevents unauthorized users from changing another user's password without their knowledge. For additional security, this cell will not display the current password.
- New Password - Use this cell to enter your new password. This action may be necessary if you have forgotten or lost your original password. For discretionary purposes, the password will not be displayed in the cell while is being edited. Instead, an asterisk (*) will be displayed for each character entered. A password strength meter will appear while editing this field so that you have immediate feedback on the validity and strength of the password while it is being typed. If the password meter indicates Weak, the password will be rejected and you will see a Red notification bar at the top of the screen when you attempt to save the changes. If this occurs, try enetring another password with a combination of alphanumeric characters until a Good or Strong designation appears in the meter. Passwords must be at least 6 characters in length. Note: This cell works in conjunction with the Confirm Password cell in that you must enter the identical password in both of the cells. If the password is not identical in these two cells, the password will be rejected and you will see a Red notification bar at the top of the screen when you attempt to save the changes.
- Confirm Password - Use this cell to re-enter/confirm the password that you entered in the New Password field. This second step is useful to ensure that the new password is being entered exactly as desired (to avoid user lockout). As a security measure, this cell will show as blank regardless if the password has been defined previously.
