Use this screen to add pre-formatted training courses that can be assigned to your employees as part of their onboarding. Each quiz's passing score can be defined here along with the person who will be responsible for reviewing each employees submitted results.

Visit the Button Descriptions help page to view detailed descriptions of each button that appears on your screen (whether in the Button Bar at the top of the table, or in the table itself). Note: If a button is unavailable (i.e. its text appears in Gray), either the command is not applicable to the current screen, or its function has already been applied (e.g. you clicked the New button for an item that can only be added one time).
New - Use this button to add an available course row to the table. Before Clicking the button, ensure that you choose the desired course from the drop-down list immediately to the right of the button. When this button is selected, the new course row will appear in the table below with the data fields active and ready for editing.
The following section of this help page describes the various columns that can appear in the main table on this screen. If you see a column description below that does not appear on your screen, you can add the column to your view by using the Customize option under the Views button (located at the left side of the screen just above the table). Refer to the Customize View help page for more help on this feature. |
Use this cell to enter a number that will uniquely identify the course. The number can be used to as a reference to this course when sorting items on this screen and also for reporting purposes.
Use this cell to enter details that describe the course. Selecting the link opens the Course Details window where you can enter the details as needed. You can also paste content into the window from another program or document (e.g. word processor, spreadsheet, web page).
This cell is used to upload and manage documents that relate to the current row item. This can include PDFs, word processing documents, spreadsheets, images and so on.
Manage - Choose this button to open the Documents window that allows you to manage the documents that are associated with this item. You can use the various options in the window to add, view, and remove documents. Each time you add a document, the name of the file will appear in the window's table, along with the date and time it was added.
The table in the center of the window display the names of each file that currently resides in the management window. To select a file for viewing or removal, simply click on its name.
Use this cell to enter the email address of the person who will be responsible for receiving or reviewing the completed courses. This is typically the HR Manager or someone in your company's Training department.
Valid email addresses, such as john.smith@example.com are made up of the name, followed by the @ symbol, followed by a domain. The domain part is not case-sensitive, but the name portion may be, depending on the persons email server settings. Underscores and hyphens are permitted, but other special characters (e.g. #, $, !, quotes and spaces) are not.
Use this cell to enter the name of the course. The name should be unique and descriptive as it will appear on various screens and reports throughout the program.
Use this cell to define value (score) that the student needs to achieve on order to successfully pass the course. The score is calculated based on the sum of the correct questions in the quiz. Note: If the student does not achieve this value, they will fail the course and the HR administrator will receive an email that shows the failing score along with the student's incorrect answers.
This cell displays the extension portion (latter half) of the course's answer page location on the host server (the prefixes for all courses are stored interally and are not available for editing). This cell should not be edited and is provided for reference purposes only. URL stands for Uniform Resource Locator, which is the address of a resource on the Internet.
Each time a sudent submits the quiz, a pop-message appears that lists their score along with other useful information. Check this box to include a hyperlink to the quiz answers page in the aforementioned pop-up message. For some courses, it may be benefical for the user to know which questions they answered incorrectly and the reason for the incorrect response.
